Asset credits

Third-party assets retain their own copyrights and licenses. Source links, adaptation notes, and required notices are gathered here.

Room props & character clothing

Pizza — Rigsters

Pizza by Rigsters, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.

Changes by Aces Every Hand: pizza color and normal maps reduced to 2K; plate color and metallic/roughness maps to 1K; normal map filtered and renormalized; repackaged as GLB with uniform scale and an origin wrapper for a 30 cm pizza and original plate. Original geometry, normals, UVs and material parameters retained.

Wine Bottles 01 — Poly Haven

Wine Bottles 01, modeling by Rico Cilliers and graphic design by Jurita Burger, released under CC0.

Changes by Aces Every Hand: base-centered roots, separated material parts, shared image/texture references, and an r128 compatibility derivative enabling alpha blending for source transmission materials. The runtime material variant r128-layered-alpha-01 replaces transmission with restrained alpha blending, front-face rendering and darker liquid tint to approximate absorption. Source geometry, labels and 1K maps retained.

Whiskey — Helyeouka

Based on Whiskey and Wine Low-Poly Bottles by Helyeouka, licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Changes by Aces Every Hand: selected whiskey subsets, embedded original maps in GLB, and added source-transform/base-centering/uniform-scale wrappers for 30 cm height. Solid bottle metallic factor changed to zero; transparent bottle retains source materials. Source wine excluded. Geometry, normals, UVs and maps retained.

Temporary mug — Skyler

Based on Simple Empty Coffee Mug – Free Game Asset (CC0) by Skyler. The downloaded asset is licensed under CC BY 4.0, despite CC0 in its title.

Changes by Aces Every Hand: selected the source mesh, repackaged as GLB with source-world transform and normalization wrappers for 95 mm height and a base/body-axis origin. Original geometry, normals, UVs and plain cream ceramic retained. Added a recessed coffee surface for the two counter mugs; no source textures, smoothing or handle/rim remodeling added.

Glass Beer Bottle — CAL21

Glass Beer Bottle by CAL21, licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Changes by Aces Every Hand: repacked as GLB with equivalent source transforms and base-centering/uniform-scale wrappers for 24 cm height; shared copies placed on the bar shelves. Source geometry, UVs, maps and BLEND material retained. No separate cap or liquid geometry added.

Bartender formal clothing — Margaret Toigo (MRT)

The Suit with jacket and bowtie is released under CC0. Adapted to a burgundy waistcoat, ivory shirt front, bow tie and trousers, fitted and skinned to the bartender. Existing licensed Mixamo Ch33 sleeves complete the outfit.

Bartender character — Boss

The Boss head, eyes, teeth and hat come from Adobe Mixamo, used under Adobe’s Mixamo usage terms. The cigar was removed, and the head and formal outfit were fitted to the existing bartender body and service animations.

Previous bartender mustache — Rehman Polanski

Moustache Viking is released under CC0. Its textured hair geometry was reshaped, groomed, tinted and fitted for the previous bartender appearance.

The CC0 designation applies to the clothing and mustache sources. The Boss and Ch33 character components and purchased bartender animations retain their original licenses.

Characters, animation & room artwork

Club characters & base animation — Adobe Mixamo

Character and base-animation assets from Adobe Mixamo were adapted, posed, retargeted, fitted, and integrated for the club. These include the seated cast, Ch17 staff, Ch33 body components, the Boss head and hat, and Seated Idle source motion. Their use is governed by Adobe’s Mixamo usage terms; they are not CC0 assets. The Boss adaptations are described with the bartender’s clothing above.

Bartender & table animation — The Mighty Cat Games

The Bartender Animation Pack and Poker Blackjack and Card Games Animation Pack by The Mighty Cat Games provide purchased source motion. Clips were retargeted, edited, and integrated with the club’s character rigs and interactions. These assets retain their commercial source licenses; see the source listings and Unity Asset Store terms.

Room surface materials — Poly Haven

Released under CC0. Texture maps were resized and adapted to the club’s walls, painted wood, exposed brick, and furnishings.

Original room & game artwork

The club’s custom geometry, lighting, timber and rug artwork, historical dressing, playing-card art, menu paintings, newspaper illustrations, opening-film artwork, and interface graphics were created or adapted for Aces Every Hand under Adam Clegg’s creative direction. AI-assisted artwork and technical integration are credited to the team above.

Music, voices & room sound

Music — Suno v6

“Aces Main Theme,” “Enchanted Cards,” and “Game Over” were supplied for Aces Every Hand by the creative director. “Aces Main Theme” also accompanies the opening film.

Recorded character voices — ElevenLabs

Bartender and opening-film narrator: The Grizzled Brooklyn Veteran. Registration receptionist: Juniper — Grounded and Professional. Dealer: Eric — Smooth, Trustworthy. Dialogue was written for Aces Every Hand and generated as prerecorded audio with ElevenLabs.

Room recording: 062010_restaurant.wav by moxobna, CC0. A quiet 30-second portion of its publicly available preview was filtered and faded for this room.

Active dealer recordings use Eric - Smooth, Trustworthy from ElevenLabs, generated under the Starter plan and served as prerecorded local audio files. Playback makes no remote speech requests. ElevenLabs generated-content usage guidance.

Unused legacy dealer recordings remain credited to Piper 1.8.0 and the en_US-joe-medium voice, whose model card identifies a CC0 voice dataset. The Piper generation tool and model are not included in the web game.

Chip and cup details are original synthesized foley created for Aces Every Hand. Generation settings, file hashes and source references are recorded in the asset manifest.

Conversations & poker chips

Quiet conference-room conversation: Shane Vincent / ShangusBurger and the GameSoundCon 2024 performers. CC0. Original and full performer credits.

49. Poker chip shuffle.wav: btherad2000. CC BY 4.0. Original recording.

Betting chip sounds also use this recording: call (44.25–44.48 seconds), raise (26.00–26.37 seconds), and all-in (25.65–26.39 seconds). These short excerpts retain the original 48 kHz stereo audio, with reduced gain and brief edge fades, exported as 16-bit PCM WAV. No synthesized sounds were added to these cues.

Public HQ previews converted to Ogg/24 kHz. Chip recording divided into seven consecutive excerpts, downmixed to mono, with 0.7 linear gain and short edge fades. Conversation repeats the approved 24-second take three times with four-second crossfades, producing a 64-second bed, without voice-muffling EQ. This is not 64 seconds of distinct recording. Timing and spatial mix vary in the game.

Club television — programs & source notices

House channel — Army vs Air Force basketball

Army vs USAF: Armed Forces Gold Medal Women's Championship Basketball, by Justin Fairley / 2D Audiovisual Squadron, recorded October 10, 2024 at Fort Moore, Georgia. Original DVIDS source, identified there as public domain, subject to DVIDS use restrictions. Adapted for the club TV: starts at source 03:00, resized to 512×288 H.264/AAC, with synchronized broadcast sound, filtering, volume adjustment and selective background-music reduction.

The appearance of U.S. Department of War (DoW) visual information does not imply or constitute DoW endorsement.

Sports broadcasts retain their original sound with background music selectively reduced. Government footage may include third-party material with separate rights; audio adaptation does not change those rights.
